With the recent arrival of the new Premium Pint Glass, shortly there will be a new gift pack containing 2 x blonde bottles, 2 x red bottles and a Premium Pint Glass
Dates for 2009 open weekend announced
The dates for the 2009 open weekend shall be the 4th and 5th of July. Rebellion hopes everyone can make it to have a great weekend.
New Bottling Line!
Rebellion are currently sourcing a bottling line to install into a newly taken over barn on site. The Bottling Line shall allow us to be able to bottle smaller batches of a wider range our beers, and is planned to be operating by early 2007.
Reading Beer & Cider Festival 2006
Our Mutiny has won the Local Beer of The Festival Award for the "Best Bitter 4.5% - 4.9%" category.
SIBA National Beer competition 2006
Our IPA has won Gold in the SIBA National Beer Competition in the "Champion Bitter upto 3.9%" Category.
Expansion
This year we are increasing our capacity, through new tankage to 1.5 million pints a year, hoping to exceed the recording volume produced in 2005, of 1.35 million pints.
New Shop
Our new shop is finished and has made a huge difference, (you can now have more than 3 people in it at any one time and it actually resembles a shop.) We have also increased the parking facilities to try and avoid the traditional Saturday carnage that was our car park.
Society of Brewers Competition
Our IPA and Mutiny won Gold Medals in The Society of Brewers Regional Competitions with both going into the National finals in March 06, The Red also won a silver medal.
Open Weekend
Our 3rd Open weekend was held on the 30th and 31st July 2005. The weekend was a huge success with over 4500 people attending drinking free beer all weekend. You also managed to raise £3450 for the local Scanappeal so thank you for your support. (Next open weekend is in 2007.
